About the Campaign
Summer Recreation offers a full day of fun activities for your child to experience with children of their own age group. All activities are supervised by their group counselors and each day is broken up into 1 hour and 30 minute segments. To register, click the "Participate Now" tab.
- When: June 24th - August 8th
- Who: All students entering 1st-5th grade in Sept. 2025
- Where: Betty McElmon Elementary
- Activities: Arts & crafts, sports, contests, games, on-site amusements, ice-cream truck, end-of-the-year party and more!
- Price: $520 for 6-week program and $420 for additional children.
There will be a $75 late fee for those not registered by end of day on June 14th.
Please print, sign and bring the Welcome Packet on your first day. This can be located in the documents section at the bottom of this page.
About the Director & Assistant Director:
- Arianna Minaidis is returning (6th year) as our WLB Summer Camp Director. Ms. Minaidis graduated from Monmouth University in 2020 with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Spanish and ELS. She currently teaches at Red Bank Elementary as a kindergarten teacher.
- Christina Ronan is returning (5th year) as our WLB Summer Camp Assistant Director. Ms. Ronan graduated from Marist University in 2025 with a degree in History. She is CPR certified and enjoys working with children.
How to participate
*If you would like to register your child for Art Classes, please follow the below steps:
- Register and submit payment for Summer Camp Recreation by clicking the "Participate Now" tab.
- Revisit Summer Recreation Registration page
- Select Add On: Art Class and submit registration/payment
You must complete Summer Recreation registration before you can register your child for Art Class.
Guidelines
Appropriate behavior is expected. All campers should treat staff, other campers and equipment with respect. There is zero tolerance for bullying and abusive actions. Repeated misbehavior could result in suspension from camp. Any bullying, fighting, cursing, or inappropriate conduct, even if it is only one occurrence, can result in the removal of camp for a period of time, or immediate expulsion.
- All campers must be a resident of West Long Branch or attend a WLB school.
- All campers must have a registration form on file and proof of residency.
- All campers must provide their own lunch.
- All campers must be dropped off NO earlier than 8:50 am.
- All campers must be picked up by 3pm (at the latest).
THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS AFTER REGISTRATION
