Education is the foundation of a thriving community. In Seat Pleasant, we are committed to ensuring that learning is not limited to the classroom or specific age groups—it happens everywhere, every day. The Education. Everywhere. Every day. (e-Three) Initiative was created to address educational inequities and build a culture of lifelong learning across the City of Seat Pleasant.

Through this initiative, we are:

1. Expanding access to enrichment opportunities for youth and families
2. Building stronger school-community partnerships
3. Creating library and learning hubs that serve as community anchors
4. Increasing technology access and digital literacy
5. Supporting the well-being of our students and families so they can focus on learning

One of the first projects under the e-Three Initiative is the Little Library Project. The goal is to place a Little Library in each ward with a steward assigned to each by 2027. These small, free-standing libraries will be placed throughout Seat Pleasant, giving residents of all ages access to books, resources, programming, and community connection. They will serve as a daily reminder that education belongs to everyone.

How To Participate

We invite individuals, families, businesses, and organizations to become partners in this citywide movement. Your sponsorship directly supports literacy and lifelong learning in Seat Pleasant.

Ways to Participate:

1. Fund a Little Library ($2,000): Sponsors can design, paint, and dedicate a library with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and recognition plaque. Ready-made options are available.
2. Sponsor Ongoing Stewardship ($600, $300, $100, $50, $25 Tiers) Funds contribute to library maintenance, stipends for library stewards, community education programs, and book collections. $600 sponsors a steward for the year.
3. Donate Books: Share gently used or new books to stock our libraries with great reads for all ages. Libraries are checked and stocked weekly.
4. Volunteer as a Library Steward: Help plan and implement literacy-based programs, and maintain a library to keep it functional and filled with resources for the community.

Together, we can ensure that education is accessible everywhere and every day for all Seat Pleasant residents.
