Kickstart the Zoological Graduate Program!

The Biological Sciences graduate program at Fort Hays State University has produced dozens of community builders and research scientists since its inception. Traditionally, all Master's of Science students have been based on campus-proper and have incorporated the collections of the Sternberg Museum as related to their research.

The Sternberg Museum's Zoological Division is in an exciting new chapter under Zoological Collection Manager, Dr. Jackson Roberts. The division, for the first time, will be able to house and advise full time graduate students who will be paid as Graduate Curatorial Assistants.

To fulfill this goal, the last hurdle is to establish funding for the coursework necessary for our graduate students to take to become professional researchers, teachers, and biologists for the state of Kansas - like Zoe Buffington, above!
