The Western Springs Park District is excited to kick off our 2025 Volunteer Opportunities Campaign—and we want you to be part of the fun! This is your chance to roll up your sleeves, meet your neighbors, and make this year’s community events the best ones yet.
Whether you’re passionate about creating magical family moments or just love being outside with great people, there’s a volunteer opportunity for everyone.

🎉 Picnic in the Park
Help us kick off the summer with live music, games, and food! From setting up picnic stations to assisting with activities, you’ll help create the ultimate neighborhood celebration.
🎬 Movie Night
Join the crew that makes movie magic under the stars. Volunteers help with setup, concessions, and keeping the event running smoothly so families can enjoy a cozy night outdoors.
🍁 Harvest Fest
Celebrate the season with us! 2 days of great live music bands, food vendors, activities and, of course FIREWORKS! Whether it's helping with the Beer and Wine Tent, activities, parking, picture taking, first aid, set up or break down, this harvest fest needs friendly faces to bring the fun.
🎃 Halloween Bash & Chili Cook-Off
Spooky season is better with friends! From costume contests to chili tasting, help make this one of our most festive and flavorful events of the year.
