🎄 Light Up Downtown Calhoun This Holiday Season! 🎄

For 31 years, Calhoun's Christmas Parade of Lights has filled downtown Calhoun with the glow of Christmas lights, the sound of holiday music, and the warmth of a community coming together. This year's celebration will honor America's 250th Anniversary with the theme A Star-Spangled Christmas.

Calhoun's Christmas Parade of Lights brings together local businesses, organizations, schools, churches, civic groups, and families for an unforgettable evening of holiday festivities along Wall Street. The evening opens with performances by local school choirs along the parade route and concludes with a special appearance by Santa Claus.

Every entry is a chance to show off your creativity, celebrate the season, and compete for recognition in six judged categories:

• Best Use of Lights
• Best Religious Theme
• Most Spirited

Whether you're entering a walking group, a decorated vehicle, a vehicle group, or a full float, one entry fee covers your entire participation, regardless of the number of vehicles or elements in your entry.

Start Time: 7:00 PM

Staging Deadline: Entries must be in place by 6:30 PM

Route: North Wall Street, from Line Street to Oak Street, Downtown Calhoun

Staging: Enter North Wall Street from Red Bud Road; North Wall Street closes to local traffic from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM
