About the Campaign
🏛️❤️ Help Restore a Community Treasure 🤝✨
The Parish House of Historic Somerset Parish MD – St. Andrew's Episcopal Church has long served as an important community resource for the residents of Princess Anne, Maryland. Constructed around 1935, the building has provided a welcoming space for church and community activities, educational programs, nonprofit meetings, civic organizations, family celebrations, memorial gatherings, and community events.
Following the recommendation of a structural engineer who inspected the 91-year-old building, the Parish House has been temporarily closed while essential structural repairs are completed. These repairs are necessary to preserve this historic facility and ensure it remains safe for future generations.
Restoring the Parish House will return one of Princess Anne's most affordable and accessible gathering places to the community. Once reopened, the facility will again provide space for educational, charitable, religious, civic, and family activities while continuing the church's longstanding mission of serving neighbors throughout Somerset County. This campaign website includes testimonials from our community users, photographs, and online giving opportunities.
