Get your team together for the Allentown Historic District Scavenger Hunt, a rain-or-shine community adventure that invites participants to explore Allentown’s historic district while searching for designated objects, buildings, and places. Teams will pick up their scavenger hunt list at the Allentown Library and have three hours to complete the hunt, photograph their discoveries, and return for verification.

Date: Saturday, October 17, 2026

Location: Allentown Historic District — scavenger hunt materials are picked up inside the Allentown Library

This event is a fun way for friends, families, and neighbors to experience Allentown together while putting their observation skills to the test and discovering some of the places that make the historic district unique. Teams that successfully complete the hunt will race to return their verified submissions, with prizes awarded to the first three teams to finish according to the event rules.

Rules:

1. Teams of 2-6 people
2. Pick up the scavenger hunt list inside the Library at 10am Saturday October 17
3. Begin finding the items in the list below. The hunt will begin promptly at 10am
4. Take a photo of the full object/building/place with ALL team members in the photo
5. Complete the hunt by 1pm, return to the Library to have your submissions confirmed
6. The first 3 teams to submit a completed form with all photos will win a prize
7. Be extra careful when crossing streets and be safe!
