🎄 Stars, Stripes and Holiday Lights: The Festival of Trees is Back! 🎄

One of Vandalia's most beloved holiday traditions returns on Friday, November 6, 2026, and this year's theme, Stars, Stripes and Holiday Lights, promises an evening as dazzling as the season itself.

The Olde Tyme Christmas Festival of Trees is the event that officially kicks off the Christmas season in Vandalia, Illinois. Held at the Vandalia Moose Lodge 1447, this festive evening brings the community together for a night filled with beautifully decorated holiday displays, a delicious dinner, and an exciting lineup of live and silent auction items. Think Christmas trees, wreaths, wall swags, centerpieces, porch planters, gift baskets, and so much more — each one a chance to take home something truly special for the holidays.

Beyond the gorgeous décor and the thrill of the auction, the Festival of Trees is a meaningful fundraiser. Every ticket purchased helps support Vandalia's Downtown Flowerpots, the colorful, welcoming blooms that brighten our streets and bring warmth to our community all year long.
