The Amory Main Street Volunteer Ambassador Program is a year-long opportunity for local students to step up, get involved, and play a real role in making downtown Amory a better place for everyone.

This is more than a resume line or a way to log volunteer hours. We are looking for students who genuinely want to show up, serve their community, lead by example, and leave their mark on the place they call home. Ambassadors work side by side with Amory Main Street staff, board members, local business owners, community leaders, and fellow volunteers throughout the entire program year.

What Does an Ambassador Do?

• Volunteer at Amory Main Street festivals, events, and community activities
• Assist with event setup, operations, activities, and cleanup
• Welcome visitors and serve as a positive representative of Amory
• Participate in community service and downtown improvement projects
• Attend Ambassador meetings and training sessions
• Help promote Main Street programs and community involvement
• Share ideas and bring a young person's perspective to downtown Amory
• Develop real-world leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
