🎖️ Honor a Hero. Light Up the Street. 🎖️

The Goshen Main Street Veterans Banner Project is a living tribute to the men and women who have served — and who are serving right now — in the United States Armed Forces. Each November, personalized banners bearing the faces of our local heroes are hung on streetlamps throughout the community, turning every block into a corridor of gratitude and pride.

This is a national program brought home to Goshen, giving families, friends, and neighbors a meaningful way to say thank you in a way the whole community can see. Your banner will be displayed for two full years and comes with a copy of the "Behind the Banners" publication, a keepsake that tells the stories of our local heroes in their own words and through the eyes of those who love them. Beginning in 2028, you'll have the option to renew yearly and keep your hero's banner flying.

Deadline: September 25 (strictly enforced to allow time for printing)

Display: November, on streetlamps throughout the municipality where the veteran or family lives

Spots are first come, first served across participating municipalities. Submit your application before the deadline and help us fill Goshen County's streets with the faces of those who gave so much.
