Jail Tales at the Old Stone Jail is one of Honesdale's most unique and unforgettable fall experiences, weaving together chilling stories, local legends, and the real tales of former inmates inside one of the community's most storied landmarks. This October, we're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make the magic happen.

As a Jail Tales volunteer, you'll play a hands-on role in creating a fun, spooky, and welcoming atmosphere for every guest who walks through those historic doors. Whether you're guiding groups through the jail, stepping into character as one of its ghostly residents, or keeping check-in running smoothly out front, your contribution directly supports local history, Downtown Honesdale, and community tourism.

This is your chance to spend an evening inside the Old Stone Jail, surrounded by community spirit and a whole lot of Halloween energy. Costumes are highly encouraged, and first-timers are absolutely welcome!
