The most dazzling night of the year is coming to Downtown Texarkana, and we want YOU in the lineup. The 2026 Main Street Texarkana Christmas Parade rolls on Monday, December 7 at 7 p.m., and this year's theme, "Home for the Holidays," sets the stage for a night of glowing floats, spirited performances, and the kind of community magic that makes the season unforgettable.

Whether you're a local business, a school marching band, a church group, a civic organization, or a non-profit, there's a place for you in this beloved annual tradition. Thousands of spectators line the streets of Downtown Texarkana each year to cheer on participants, and your entry helps create those lasting holiday memories for families across the Texas-Arkansas border community.

Registration Deadlines

Early Bird Registration: Now through November 9 (11:59 p.m. online / 4 p.m. in person)

Late Registration: November 10 through November 20 (additional fee applies for Non-Commercial/Non-Profit and Commercial entries)

Every entry must be lighted, this is an all-electric parade! Decorate to the theme, bring your creativity, and get ready to entertain the crowd. Awards are presented in three divisions: Non-Commercial/Non-Profits, Commercial, and Marching Bands.

ATTENTION MARCHING BANDS - The fee for marching bands only has been waived for 2026. To receive the waiver and register your marching band, please pick up an application from the Perot Theater during their regular office hours and return the completed form to the Perot Theater during their regular office hours or mail to Main Street Texarkana, P.O. Box 631, Texarkana, Texas 75504. Applications must be received no later than November 13, 2026. Applications must be received in paper form for the marching band to receive the waiver. A blank application form may be requested via email at events@mainstreettexarkana.org but must be printed and mailed or returned in person to the above locations.
