The Barre Partnership’s largest annual event, the Barre Heritage Festival & Homecoming Days, returns July 22–25, 2026, and planning is already underway for another unforgettable celebration of Barre’s culture, history, and community spirit.

Each year, the festival welcomes more than 25,000 visitors from across Vermont and beyond to experience everything that makes Barre special: our heritage, our businesses, our arts, and our vibrant downtown.

What’s New in 2026. We are excited to introduce a brand-new kickoff event.

TASTE OF BARRE.

Barre Social Club, 105 North Main Street on Thursday, July 23, 2026 | 6:00-8:00 pm

This new culinary experience will showcase flavors from Barre’s diverse heritage groups alongside a curated wine tasting. Taste of Barre will celebrate the traditions and cultures that have shaped our community while creating a unique and elevated festival experience to launch the weekend.

Festival Highlights Returning in 2026. City Hall Park will once again come alive with a diverse lineup of live entertainment featuring folk, rock, country, jazz, classic rock, and more. Festivalgoers will also enjoy:

• The Annual Heritage Festival Parade featuring performers, floats, and community groups

• Kids Zone activities and family entertainment

• Vendors, street performers, historical exhibits, and local art displays

• Fireworks lighting up downtown Barre
