The Westerville Parks Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 2000 to support the City of Westerville Parks and Recreation Department. Working with donors and volunteers, the Foundation advances Westerville’s vision of a “City Within a Park” by funding parks, trails, public spaces, and programs for future generations.
The Foundation has contributed more than $600,000 to park growth and enhancements, focusing on trail improvements, public art, and park amenities. Key projects include trail rest nodes and signage along the trail system, Veterans Memorial, the Train Depot shelter at Hanby Park, Westerville’s Bark Park, public art installations throughout the city, and the revitalization of Otterbein Lake.
