Memorial Program

A memorial bench is a splendid way to honor a loved one, as it provides a place of reflection and peace among our parks. This memorial bench is a standard six-foot recycled bench with a personalized two-inch-by-four-inch plaque, limited to three lines of text. The location of benches will be coordinated between Poplar Bluff Parks and Recreation and the purchaser. It may be placed at any of these parks: Whitely Park, Ferguson Grove, Downtown Dog Park, Shelby Trail, Sportsman Park, McLane Park, Downtown Park, and Hendrickson Park.

A memorial tree is a beautiful way to honor the life of a loved one while also providing a gift to the community. You can purchase a memorial tree to be placed in one of our charming park settings. Trees will be placed where they are most needed unless a particular park is requested. Shade trees include six varieties of maple, three varieties of oak, two varieties of crabapple, and two varieties of red bud with chokeberry and cypress also available. A six-inch by six-inch memorial plaque will be placed in front of the tree.
