Downtown Strawman Competition Registration

Help us fill Downtown Poplar Bluff with fall creativity! Individuals, families, businesses, schools, churches, organizations, and community groups are invited to create and display a family-friendly Strawman (scarecrow).

Your Strawman can be traditional, funny, whimsical, artistic, or completely original. Please keep all entries appropriate for all ages — no gore or offensive content.

  • Registration: September 8-22
  • Entry Fee: $20 per Strawman
  • Winner Notification: October 8
  • People's Choice Voting: October 9-22
  • People's Choice Winner Announced: October 23
