The Memorial Tree Program offers families and friends a meaningful way to honor a loved one through the planting of a commemorative tree in a Lockport Township Park District neighborhood park. Each tree serves as a living tribute — creating beauty, shade, and environmental benefit for the entire community while preserving the memory of someone special.

Installation Periods: Spring and Fall (based on demand and weather conditions)

Planting Locations: A Lockport Township Park District neighborhood park (final placement determined by Park Services Department)

Your $400 tax-deductible donation includes the tree (2”–3” caliper, minimum 6’ height), delivery, professional installation, a remembrance plaque, and ongoing maintenance. Trees are planted by the Park Services Department and placed in collaboration with the donor. This timeless tribute strengthens our parks, supports environmental stewardship, and leaves a lasting legacy for generations to enjoy.
