🔥🍖 Grilling on Main: The Ultimate BBQ Showdown 🍗🔥
Grilling on Main is a high-energy, non-sanctioned BBQ competition where pitmasters go head-to-head cooking brisket, ribs, and chicken—with meats provided to competitors—while also creating a signature dish for the People’s Choice category. Teams will fire up their smokers on-site and compete for cash prizes, awards, and the coveted Grand Champion belt.

Judging Criteria
Flavor –
- Smoke should complement the meat but not overpower it
- Seasoning should enhance the meat without being too hot, sweet, salty, or bitter
- Sauce (if used) should blend well with meat, seasoning, and smoke
- Aroma should be pleasant and complement the flavor
Texture/Tenderness –
- Brisket: proper pull test; not too tough or falling apart
- Ribs: proper bite; not too hard or falling off the bone
- Chicken: tender with a juicy texture
Appearance –
- Box presentation and visual appeal
- Uniform and consistent cuts
- Bark or skin quality
- Sauce application should enhance—not overpower—the presentation
