Bring your best recipe, fire up the pot, and join the competition at Jambin’ on Main, a high-energy, community-centered jambalaya cookoff bringing chefs, neighbors, and visitors together for a day of bold flavors and downtown fun. Local teams will compete for top honors while serving up their best jambalaya for the public during a People’s Choice tasting—all in the heart of historic downtown Minden.

Jambin’ on Main is more than a cookoff—it’s an opportunity to bring the community together, showcase local cooking talent, and create an exciting downtown experience for residents and visitors. Every participating team adds another flavor to the celebration and helps make downtown Minden the place to be.

For Cooks:

This year we will be housing all teams under one huge tent accessible to the public. Each Team will get a 10x10 space along the inside edge of this tent. No teams will be setting up their own tents. Signage is allowed.

Rules:

-Each team must range from 1-4 people

-All dishes must be prepared and cooked on site in a pot over heat.

-NO SEAFOOD ALLOWED
