Step into the story of Canal Winchester! Join us as we celebrate the Grand Opening of the Canal Winchester History Center—a newly restored and reimagined museum campus that brings our community’s rich past to life.
Explore the brand new and beautifully curated Canal Winchester Museum, each filled with interactive exhibits, local artifacts, and immersive storytelling experiences. From the era of canals and railroads to the classrooms and craftsmanship that built our town, you’ll see history come alive in a whole new way.
On the first floor, don’t miss the National Barber Museum, a one-of-a-kind collection celebrating the artistry and legacy of barbering across America. Featuring rare tools, vintage chairs, and fascinating memorabilia, this nationally recognized exhibit tells the story of how the barber’s chair became a symbol of community, conversation, and craft. It’s a must-see experience that connects Canal Winchester’s local heritage to a broader American narrative.
Guests will have the opportunity to walk through and explore each exhibit at their own pace, experiencing the charm and craftsmanship that make this campus such a meaningful addition to our community. Local refreshments and family-friendly activities will also be available throughout the day.
