Want to be part of preserving and sharing Canal Winchester’s story? The Canal Winchester Area Historical Society is powered by volunteers—neighbors who give their time, talents, and heart to keep our history alive. Whether you have an hour a month or a day a week, there’s a place for you to jump in:
- Museum Docent – Greet visitors, share stories, and guide tours
- Event Support – Help with set-up, ticketing, or hospitality at community events
- Archiving & Collections – Catalog and preserve historical artifacts and photographs
- Campus Maintenance – Assist with light repairs, gardening, and upkeep
- Educational Programs – Support school visits and youth history activities
- Special Projects – Work on restoration, fundraising, or seasonal celebrations
- Story Gathering – Research residents with wonderful stories of CW past- facilitate with CWAHS to record local history for our archives
