Pleasant Prairie Parks Department is looking for people interested in dedicating a memorial tree. All memorial trees will be placed in areas suitable for a long and healthy growth cycle. Areas slated for future development within the park will not be available for planting. If you would like to participate in the placement and planting of your specific memorial tree, please call Pleasant Prairie Parks Department at 262.925.6700 for an appointment.

Dedication plaques will be provided for each tree. We strongly recommend messages that are simple and tasteful such as:

1. In Honor of ...
2. Dedicated to ...
3. In Memory of ...

If you prefer a more personalized message, you may submit your request to the Parks Department for approval. Each plaque will be limited to 20 words and must not contain any religious overtones, political positions or social messages.

How to Participate -

1. Select a Tree: View our map of Available tree listings to see where you can leave a lasting legacy in our community. These locations have all been identified by our city and are best planting spots. If you’d like to propose a location that you don’t see, please click ‘Propose’ on our Community Profile to identify on the map where you’d like to dedicate a tree.
2. Submit Payment: On your identified Available tree, click ‘Participate Now' to check out and pay online. You will receive an email with a letter acknowledging your tax-deductible contribution. If you wish to pay by check, please drop off your check at city hall.
