You will also discover proactive steps to reduce your risk, such as addressing age-related vision changes, environmental hazards, and medication reviews. You will also learn how to safely get up after a fall. Join us in taking steps toward fall prevention and empowering yourself with the knowledge to stay safe and independent!
Seminar Teacher Bio:
Betty Sitt is a third-year doctoral student in Occupational Therapy at Monmouth University. She is currently completing her capstone project, educating and training EMS professionals on fall prevention to help reduce recurrent fall-related emergency calls and frequent falls. A mother of two, Betty lives in Ocean Township and is passionate about giving back to her community.
