As the joyous Christmas season approaches, we are excited to invite you to be a part of our Light Up Granite Falls event! This cherished tradition not only brightens our downtown area but also fosters community spirit and creates lasting memories for our youth.

Here’s how it works:

Local businesses sponsor Christmas trees that are beautifully displayed throughout our vibrant Downtown Granite Falls. Each tree is assigned to a classroom from Caldwell County schools, creating a special connection between your business and the community’s youth. On November 23rd, students from these schools and area youth groups will come together to decorate the trees with their handmade ornaments, all centered around this year’s exciting theme: 20 Years of Christmas Memories.

Each tree will feature a sign highlighting its business sponsor, ensuring that your contribution is recognized and appreciated by all who visit.

But that’s not all! This year, we’ll award cash prizes to the top trees: first place will receive $250, second place will receive $150, and six runners-up will each earn $50, all directly benefiting the classrooms involved.

By sponsoring a tree, you are not just enhancing our town’s festive spirit; you are also creating unforgettable experiences for our children. These moments will inspire them to cherish our community and support local businesses for years to come. Our event has garnered attention across the state, drawing locals and visitors alike who come to admire the beautiful trees adorned by our talented youth.

If you prefer to pay by check, please make the check to Granite Falls Merchants' Association, and return it to PO Drawer 10, Granite Falls, NC 28630 or drop it off at Town Hall.
