About the Campaign
Senior Craft Activities Campaign π¨
Help bring creativity, connection, and joy to the senior community at the Oliver Springs Public Library.
The library hosts Senior Craft Activities that give older adults a welcoming place to gather, create, and enjoy time together. These classes are more than just crafts. They provide opportunities for social connection, creative expression, and mental wellness, helping seniors stay active and engaged in the community.
Each craft class typically costs about $15 per participant to cover supplies and instruction. For many seniors living on fixed incomes, even small costs can make it difficult to participate regularly. This campaign helps ensure these programs remain accessible and welcoming to everyone.
There are two ways you can support these meaningful programs.
π’ Business Sponsorships
Local businesses can sponsor a full month of senior craft activities, helping fund multiple classes while receiving recognition from the library and the community. Itβs a great way for businesses to give back while supporting creativity and connection for local seniors.
π Individual & Family Donations
Individuals and families can contribute any amount to help cover the cost of craft supplies, materials, and instruction. Every donation directly supports the craft activities and helps make sure seniors can participate without financial barriers.
β¨ Together, we can make sure no senior misses the chance to create, connect, and enjoy meaningful experiences at the Oliver Springs Public Library.
