This event brings together community groups, churches, schools, environmental organizations, scouts, and neighborhood associations to help remove invasive species along the riverbank, ensuring that the Rouge River remains a beautiful and healthy part of our city. How To Participate

The clean-up will be on Saturday, May 9th, 2026

10am-12pm

Recommended items to wear & bring:

  1. Boots or sturdy shoes
  2. Long pants & long-sleeve shirt
  3. Hat
  4. Sunscreen

Volunteers should dress according to prevailing weather conditions. Mosquito repellent, gloves and bags will be provided.
