• Select your Giving Opportunity and Click 'Adopt this Item': Choose from a variety of park features, such as benches, picnic tables, or visitor amenities, that you’d like to support. 
• Contribute to Booth Park's future: Your donation directly funds new improvements, ensuring Booth Park remains a lively and well-maintained space. 
• Receive recognition: All supporters will be featured on Birmingham's Community Giving Profile, and those who receive a QR Plaque can share their Digital Story with park visitors. 

Our Guidelines 

• Park Improvements: Donations help support various park elements, including landscaping, amenities, and larger park features like arbors or pavilions. All donations will align with Birmingham’s Parks and Recreation Master Plans to maintain the park's beauty and functionality. 
• City Approval: While your suggestions are welcome, final decisions regarding the placement, design, and installation of donated elements rest with the City of Birmingham. All donations will be carefully reviewed to ensure they meet the city’s standards and enhance Booth Park. 
• Property of the City: Once accepted, all donated items become the property of the City of Birmingham, which will handle their maintenance as needed. However, the city is not obligated to provide perpetual care or replacement for these items.
• Donor Involvement: In some cases, donors may be asked to present their additional donation proposals to the Birmingham Parks and Recreation Board or the City Commission. Public feedback might be considered during the review process.
• Recognition & Appreciation: Every donor will be acknowledged by a letter of appreciation from the City of Birmingham, and naming rights for certain park features may be granted with City Commission approval.
• Tax Deductions: Donations to the City of Birmingham may be tax-deductible, but we encourage you to consult with your tax advisor.
